This page shows two different trips. It should have been one. The start was at Braithwaite , west of Keswick. It was to traverse Grisdale Pike, visit Hopegill Head, then cross to Grasmoor/Eel Crag pass. Then on to Robinson, Dale Head, High Spy and Catbells. I would then take the ferry to Keswick. The weather on the first attempt was very bad and I had to descend to Buttermere via Whiteless Pike after one night out. Also I had forgotten to check my gas cannister which was empty. I came back a few weeks later and started from Buttermere and completed the route in good weather, bivouacking near Dale Head Tarn.
