Become an icon

I am reaching the end of my project called 'The Holloway icons' (click here to see the web page). This series of 40 portraits of people who live and work in my local area of north London is one piece and will be exhibited as an installation. The idividual images are not for sale.

But NOW - you can become an icon!

I am now offering to paint icon images of you, your friends, even your pets.

A web page will be set up where your icon may be seen (if you so wish) with the possiblility of creating a world wide community of icon subjects!

I work from photographs which I like to take myself to get the lighting right. This also means you do not have to sit for me for hours. I can take the pictures at my studio or at your place.

The cost is £1000 each icon.

Here are some samples from the original series. Your icon would be in the same style and dimensions. They are all 51 x 41cms. The backgrounds are in metallic gold arylic with the portraits in oil paint.
