A walk from Coniston via the Wrynose Pass and Langdale to Easedale Tarn and Grasmere. The walk started in thick mist needing some map and compass work on the second day. The weather gradually improved to be very fine by the last two days. Three nights under canvas. The third night was spent in the New Dungeon Ghyll Inn where I met up with my climbing club, the Cliffhangers, who were having a meet there. A symphonic journey, starting in D minor and ending in C major.
